Finally my iPhone is usable again, 4.0.x sucked on the 3G. 3Gs seemed to be fine but the 3G was literally unusable with 4.0. I was seriously considering buying a droid! I have even jailbroken 4.1 and noticed little impact on performance. Before with 4.0, there was at least a 2 second delay involved in everything you did, jailbreaking and enabling multitasking and/or wallpaper doubled that delay. Thanks apple for finally, somewhat helping us 3G users out a bit. I’m willing to bet that a measurable amount of business has been lost due to the horrible firmware performance issues, I had never considered switching phones until 4.0 was released.

If you don’t have Halo Reach yet, go get it now. Really got to hand it to bungie on this one, great game! Awesome graphics, good combination of new and original weapons, cool new vehicles including a jet pack. Levels are prestine, good lighting and even better detail unlike ODST where 1\2 the game is played in the dark.
Finally getting around to fixing my Ultimate that I crashed a few months back. Can’t wait to get it back in the air!

Ready to cover, hope to start that this weekend.
I have now been using PeerBlock for 5 months, discovered it back in May. I have had several questions regarding the legitimacy of this application, whether it works or not and how comfortable I am using it. So far it has stopped the copyright allegation letters from hitting my door step. By no means does that mean that it is fail proof but it does say something about the program and I think that it actually says quite a bit. I have continued my downloads, since installing PeerBlock, just as I had before, the only difference is now I feel that I am definitely more secure in doing so. There is that small chance that a new, or unknown, anti piracy organization will emerge and slip through the cracks for sometime, and as a result, rack up a few more IPs that are downloading copyright software, but it will only be a matter of time before that org will become known and on the list for blocking. PeerBlocks method is not 100% but for a free tool, it’s worth a great deal. The whole idea behind the application is basically a list of known anti piracy orgs, put together by the community, that are essentially blocked, and until an org is known, it is free to monitor you whether you are running PeerBlock or not.
I’ve had a paypal account on and off for several years now. Back in June of 09 my account was locked after some shady iPhone deals went wrong on ebay, shady on the buyers end, not my end. Anyway, I tried and tried for months to get my account unlocked, finally successfully unlocking it today, 9/7/10! Paypal had around $500 bucks tied up, locked out, that I could not access. In my opinion, paypal is a bit shady itself, you really have to watch yourself. Turns out I end up owing paypal $150, so $650 total, because I accepted payment from an unverified member and shipped to a different unverified address. Stupid on my part, I know, but I can’t help but be pissed off at them as well for jerking me around like they did for all this time. Lesson learned the hard way I guess.
Long story short, I can now accept donations (thanks to all those that have asked and also found other ways to contribute) and use ebay, even though I don’t care much for ebay either.
